Can a part-time employee become eligible for the CDHP and HSA employer funds?
In some cases, yes. There are a couple of circumstances that may allow part-time employees to remain or become eligible for a CDHP with a HSA.
After completing the requirements as set out by the Plan Document, employees can be *1450 Part-Time which allows them to have all of the benefits of full-time employees.
Based on meeting the full-time to part-time criteria or meeting the hours worked requirement in a measurement period, employees may be determined PPACA eligible which allows them all of the benefits of full-time employees.
