Start in Benefits Workcenter
· Click Non-Payroll Job Data.
· Enter the employees ID.
· Click the Search button.
· Enter the Effective Date. (Remember to enter the last day of the prior to benefits ending)
· Click on the spy glass beside Action. (Select the correct action code) TER is Terminating
· Click on the spy glass beside Reason. (Select the correct reason code)
· Click the Submit button.
· Click the OK button on the little Message.
Note: 1) If you use the reason code of XMC Gross Misconduct, the employee will not be eligible for Cobra.
2) You are not required to upload or send in any documentation for termination of an employee.
