2018 Retiree Annual Enrollment Reminders


Subject to eligibility, during  Annual Enrollment a retiree may:


>Review your current enrollment choices


Group health enrollees may:


>Cancel health, dental, or vision for yourself or your eligible dependents


>Change your health insurance carrier and network


>Enroll eligible dependents in health insurance, if the retiree is enrolled and remains enrolled in 2018  


>Enroll in, cancel or change dental


> Enroll in vision (if enrolled in group health), cancel or change vision plans


Retirees cannot enroll themselves in group health coverage during annual enrollment.

Surviving Spouse enrollees:


> Can make changes on the plan currently enrolled in but cannot pick up additional coverage unless you meet eligibility  as a TCRS or a higher education Optional Retirement Plan retiree with your own creditable service.


>Can drop plans currently enrolled in but cannot later request to re-enroll with a special qualifying event unless you are eligible under your own creditable service as a retiree.



Any requested changes for group health, dental, and/or vision must be submitted by completing the Annual Enrollment Application for Retiree Participant which is found in the back of the 2018 Retiree Decision Guide. The application may be submitted by mail or fax to Benefits Administration. Applications must be post marked or faxed no later than 10/27/17. Our mailing address is 312 Rosa L. All retirees enrolled in any level of group health coverage should have received a 2018 Decision Guide, in the mail.  But if you did not, it is also available on line at
