Yes. You may use health savings account (HSA) funds from a previous employer to pay for qualified healthcare expenses that you now have, even if you are currently enrolled in PPO coverage. The difference is that you may not contribute to that HSA since you are not currently enrolled in a qualified high deductible health plan. If you choose to enroll in the CDHP/HSA for 2021, and you still have funds in an HSA with a former employer, you may initiate a direct transfer of funds from HSA to HSA.
