Yes. With the PPOs, members pay the lesser of the allowed amount or office visit copay, either primary care or specialist, depending upon the provider chosen, for the allergy injections and for the allergy serum. A member only receiving an allergy injection will typically pay less than an office visit copay. A member will never pay more than an office visit copay even if they see their provider on the day they receive their allergy shots. Members enrolled in a CDHP will pay deductible plus coinsurance for allergy shots and office visits.
