When you enroll in COBRA, you are covered under the exact same plan that you had as an active employee. The networks are the same and the co-pays are the same. If you have paid toward your deductible and maximum out-of-pocket as an active employee, and then enroll in COBRA, those amounts will be moved over to your COBRA benefits as long as your move to COBRA is within the same calendar year. You may use the same insurance cards and your insurance ID numbers remain the same.
