Although you have the freedom to see doctors or use facilities that are not part of the Cigna LocalPlus network,, your costs will be higher. If you are in Tennessee or an out-of-state area where LocalPlus is available, you must receive care from a health care professional or facility in the LocalPlus network to receive in-network coverage. If you’re outside Tennessee and need care, look for a participating LocalPlus provider in the area, and call Cigna at 800.997.1617 if you need help. If the LocalPlus network is not available, you can use doctors or hospitals in the national Cigna Open Access Plus network.
