How to Reset Your Edison Password


You can follow these steps:

  • Navigate to
  • Click on “Employee Portal Login.”
  • Enter Your Access ID.
    • Don’t Know Your Access ID? Click the Back button on your browser.
    • Click on the Retrieve Access ID button
    • Complete the required fields (First Name, Last Name, Birth Date, Zip Code)
    • Click “Submit.”
    • A new page will load and display your Access ID; make a note of your Access ID.
    • Click the link to return to
  • Click on “Employee Portal Login.”
  • Enter Your Access ID.
  • Click “Continue.”
  • Click “Forgot Your Password?”
  • You should receive an email with a temporary password.
    • Didn’t Get An Email? Call for Help!
      • State Employees: Call Edison Help Desk: 615-741-4357 or 866-376-0104
      • All Others: Call Benefits Service Center: 615-741-3590 or 800-253-9981
  • Enter the temporary password from the email or the Help Desk into the password box.
  • Click “Enter” or press the “Enter” key on your keyboard.
  • You will be prompted to enter a new password.
  • Enter  your new password twice, clicking “Enter” or pressing the “Enter” key after each entry. After entering the password the second time, wait a minute, the screen will take longer than the others did to load.
