In general, enrolled members can request a replacement or additional ID card by contacting the carrier (Cigna, BlueCross BlueShield, MetLife, etc.). Typically, this can be done online or by phone. Contact information for all state of Tennessee-sponsored insurance benefits can be found online here: www.tn.gov/partnersforhealth/customer-service. In most cases, you likely will be able to print or download your replacement ID card via the carrier’s website or app. Electronic cards can be used immediately.
For newly hired employees or those who are newly eligible to receive insurance benefits, as well as employees who made new choices during the annual enrollment period, you can expect to receive a new ID card in the mail. Please check that your mailing address is current and correct in Edison.
* For the newly enrolled, expect to receive your ID card(s) before or around January 1 following the annual enrollment period.
* For new hires and the newly eligible, please allow 2-4 weeks for the physical card to arrive in the mail.
Note: ID cards are not required for visits to your dental or vision health care professional.

DEBIT CARDS FOR HSA & FSA
Health savings account, or HSA: All newly enrolled members receive a debit card. You can order additional debit cards for your spouse or dependents. You can also pay for your expenses online: optumbank.com/Tennessee
Flexible spending account, or FSA: All newly hired or newly enrolled medical FSA and limited purpose FSA participants will receive a debit card. You may order replacement cards for yourself or additional debit cards for your dependents (cost may apply) by logging into your account at optumbank.com/Tennessee.
