Acceptable Proof of Joint Ownership
To verify joint ownership, please provide one of the following documents. The document must include both names and meet the date requirements listed:

Bank Statement
Issued within the last 6 months -
Mortgage Statement
Issued within the last 6 months -
Residential Lease Agreement
Must be current and include both names -
Credit Card Statement
Issued within the last 6 months -
Property Tax Statement
Issued within the last 12 months -
Federal Tax Return (most recent)
Submit only the first page showing:- Filing status as “Married Filing Jointly” or “Married Filing Separately”
- The name of the spouse
(Please black out all income figures before submitting.)
If Recently Married (within the last 12 months)
You may submit a Marriage Certificate as the only required proof of eligibility.
***We can accept a letter from the bank, teller, or branch manager confirming the account is currently open, regardless of how long it’s been active. The letter must:
- Include both account holders’ names
- Be dated within the past 6 months
If the letter is undated or lacks a statement confirming the account is currently open, it must be reviewed by the Manager of the Active team.
