Agency Benefits Coordinator Requirements
Eligibility
- An Agency Benefits Coordinator must be an employee of the agency.
- The ABC must be identified as a contact person within the organization.
Restrictions
- Under no circumstances should an ABC allow access to Edison for:
- Insurance agents
- Insurance brokers
- Insurance agencies
- Interim students
- Employees of the employing agency who are not approved ABCs, including HR employees or agency legal counsel
- Any person who is not an approved ABC who has completed HIPAA training within the required time period
