Benefits Administration is no longer facilitating flu shot clinics as our on-site employee health center is now closed.
If you, as an employer, decide to bring a physician group or pharmacy staff, like Kroger, into your office to administer flu or other vaccines, remember that would be entirely separate from any benefits offered by Partners for Health and Benefits Administration, and those shots, vaccines, or other services may not be covered by Partners for Health plans. Your employees may be responsible for the full cost of the vaccine.
To apply for reimbursement through Cigna, BCBST (BlueCross BlueShield of Tennessee), or CVS Caremark:
- The provider, i.e., Kroger, must file individual claims per member with the member’s individual medical or pharmacy benefits.
- BCBST, Cigna, and CVS Caremark will not accept roster billing, “global” or list-based bills. Individual member claims must be filed.
- The individual or group administering the shots must also be an in-network provider with both BCBST and Cigna or CVS Caremark.
Remember, Partners for Health provides a comprehensive vaccination benefit that is free of charge and available to all plan members.
To utilize this benefit, members can:
- Visit a pharmacy in the CVS Caremark Vaccine Pharmacy network and present their CVS Caremark ID card to the pharmacist for their recommended vaccinations and pay $0 copay
- Visit their regular, in-network physician and present their medical ID card to receive their recommended vaccinations free of charge as well
